In Menu Inspiration

The Kitchen at Maison will be hosting a First Friday event on the 4th of March, with great food, wine and live music. The three course meal prepared by Chef Arno Janse van Rensburg has an emphasis on freshness, flavour and simple ingredient combinations.

The menu, which is paired with Maison wine and costs R400 per person, is:

Cured fish, bloody Mary, red onion, chipotle.
Artisan maison charcurerie, mustard, crackling.
Cured duck pineapple Che, coriander prickly pear.
Smoked salt baked trout, corn black garlic basil.
Chicken, green srirasha, Brussels coriander.
Chocolate doughnut, caramel, salt, coconut, peanut.
