Catharina’s restaurant on the Steenberg wine estate in Constantia is now offering 2 or 3 course lunch options that will run alongside the a la carte and tasting menus.

For starters there is a choice between mushroom and pecorino risotto, or a confit chicken Caesar salad. A seafood linguini or sirloin steak are up next for mains. Dessert lovers can choose between either a rooibos crème brûlée and frozen milk tart, or opt for lighter refreshment with a selection of three seasonal sorbets.

Priced at R165 for the two course menu and R195 for three courses, the menu is perfect for soaking up the atmospheric surrounds under the oak trees.
